I am part of a large team of students from the art university in Linz working hard to make an impact on a dying village in the North of Germany through artistic intervention. Lead by Ton Matton, we will be working hard with the locals in Tribsees to transform the image of their village while getting to the core of what they actually need to thrive.

Oeverwerk (September, 2020) sought to take an abandoned wheat mill and give it new life through artistic intervention, whilst exploring the abandoned mill's innate beauty. For one month, artists from all over Austria came together to display their work and partake in workshops and tours that dealt with the ‘abandoned’ space. The mill took on a whole new life of curiosity and wonderment, and rests again forever changed, even if only in our minds. Kids in the local park still trespass on the grounds to this day.

Where I do most of my work, I study in the Raum&DesignStrategies department of the art university in Linz, Austria. There, I learn about adaptive creative strategies for working with art in a public space and using space as an artistic medium. It’s a mixture of art theory and practical skills with a special focus on artistic intervention in different public spaces, and cultural exchanges. In the last four years the R&DStrategists have done projects in Uganda, China, Brazil, Germany and Austria to name a few.
